Most of the time the best part of traveling is the food but as a global nomad, it is usual to find yourself in situations where you come across unfamiliar fruits and dishes so the more knowledge the better. I would not go as far to say that all of these should have made the list but the list does take an interesting look into foods from different parts of the globe and possible side affects. Who would have ever thought that eating ackee before its fully ripe could be a mortal mistake and casava/manioc is highly poisonous!
